Reimbursements from Insurance Since 1.7.2022, the costs are covered by the basic insurance if you have a referral from a GP or Psychiatrist (Anordnungsmodell). Please contact your family doctor or psychiatrist and ask for a referral for Psychotherapy (Anordnung, not Überweisung!). Please the following referral form with my personal information on it (Anordnungsformular) You will then be granted 15 hours of Psychotherapy, which can be extended by another 15. After 30 hours, a report is necessary in order to continue with the therapy.  The tariff for Canton Zurich has been provisionally set at 154.80 for a 60- minute session. In addition, 10-15 minutes of prep time, resp. for taking notes afterwards will be charged, which is standard. Thus, the total cost for a 60 minute session will be approximately 180.60-193.50. Self payers / complemetary insurance If you prefer your health insurance not knowing about the treatment, or have other reasons, it is of course still possible to pay for the therapy out of pocket. The first appointment will have to be paid in cash (exact amount). For initial Skype sessions, an advance payment is required. Skype sessions cost the same as regular sessions. As each complementary insurance has its own terms and conditions, please check with your insurance to find out what the terms and conditions for the coverage are. Most complementary insurances will cover Psychotherapy only if  you are healthy and do not have a medical referral. But there are a few exceptions.  Absences / missed appointments In case you are not able to keep an appointment, please let me know until latest 7pm of the day before. I can be reached by phone (leave voice mail), text or email. In case of late cancellations or missed appointments, you will be charged 150.- privately (which the insurance will not pay).   No medical services offered As I am neither a Psychiatrist or a medical doctor, I do not issue certificates for sick-leave, medication or disability reports. I will gladly refer you to a Psychiatrist if you need additional Psychiatric services. In the Link section, you will find a few English speaking Psychiatrists, I collaborate and can recommend.
